Plasma Coil Install
Here we have some new Okada Projects Plasma Direct Coils
First you have to remove the spark plug cover. This requires a 10mm socket.
Now remove the 10mm bolts that hold down the coils and unplug the connectors. Remember where your coils are located so you don't put them back in wrong.
You will have to remove the spark plug boot off of your stock coils. Just gently twist them off. Keep your stock coils, you never know if you might need them someday.
Put the spark plug boot onto the new Plasma Coils. Make sure the spring in the plug boot goes into the coil without bending it.
Last, put them back in and take her for a test drive. We really didn't expect much out of these coils. But to our surprise, idle was alot smoother and off idle throttle response was improved greatly. We had issues with the enigne breaking up at higher rpm's but now that problem is gone. These coils come with a CARB sticker for you guys and girls in California.
